The problem

Two cast-iron downpipes at the front and rear of the property had deteriorated due to rot and cracking and needed full replacement.

Work completed

Weather Storm Roofing & Guttering replaced two deteriorated cast-iron downpipes at a property in Rayleigh, Essex, completing the work on 9 October 2026. One downpipe was at the front of the property and the other at the rear. Both had suffered from rot and cracking. We carefully removed the old downpipes and their fixings, then installed complete black round uPVC replacement downpipes using all-new fixtures and fixings. Both runs were aligned to support efficient rainwater flow. Two before clips and three after clips show the old pipes and completed replacements; all five videos retain their full lengths and have no audio.
