A flat-roof replacement in Southend-on-Sea using a three-layer SBS torch-on felt covering, with new cover flashings and reinstated coping stones. The old covering had deteriorated, with cracking at the drip edges and upstands, and damaged areas of the deck needed renewal. We removed the existing covering and old cover flashings, renewed only the damaged deck areas in OSB, and prepared and primed the roof deck for the new covering. The three-layer SBS torch-on felt was installed, new cover flashings were fitted, and the coping stones were put back in place around the perimeter.
